- Food and wine with local products (where possible)
We propose traditional recipes from Ladin, South Tyrolean, Mediterranean and international cuisine but revisiting them in a modern way. Where it's possible, we use local products in order to promote a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. In fact, the using of local products reduces the impact on the environment and and improves the nutritional properties of the products themselves.
Choosing to shop and consume locally is not only a conscious gesture, but also a concrete way to contribute to a more prosperous and harmonious future for all.
- Led lights (where possible)
The hotel uses LED lighting to reduce electricity consumption and to reduce waste from incandescent light bulbs.
- 100% green electricity
The hydroelectric energy used is produced locally by hydroeletric power plant.
- Heat recovery and reuse
The use of generators allows the heat they produce to be used to heat the entire hotel.
- Waste sorting
The hotel increasingly improves the waste sorting in order to encourage the recycling and the correct waste disposal
- Charging electric cars (for a fee)
The Almhof Hotel Call has electric charging stations for both Tesla and electric vehicles of other brands.
- Bikes
Discover the magnificent surrounding area moving in a sustainable way: rent our mountain bikes (free of charge) and our e-bikes (for a fee). We are available for suggestions and advice for the various routes you can take.
- Transfer service to and from San Lorenzo station
If you prefer to travel by public transport, reach the San Lorenzo di Sebato station and on arrival and departure we will organize a free transfer to/from the hotel

To avoid unnecessary waste of paper, brochures and prospectuses have been digitized. The use of digital media allows immediate consultation of the services offered and greater information effectiveness.
- Welcome packs
For our welcome packs reserved for children (under 8 years of age) and dogs, we use eco-sustainable packaging which comes from a company that encourages the inclusion of people with disabilities into the world of work.
- Adopt a tree
During the Vaia storm in 2018, the biosystem of San Vigilio and the surrounding area suffered extensive damages, which is currently still visible and unresolved. Due to the fall of numerous trees, many of which died due to the spread of the bark beetle, the ground is increasingly weaker and more subject to landslides, and the landscape is undergoing important changes.
The Dolomites San Vigilio/San Martin Tourist Cooperative in collaboration with WOWnature has undertaken a project with the aim of reforesting the area to maintain the balance of the ecosystem of the area and of the Fanes-Senes-Braies Natural Park.
