I 7 suggerimenti per "buon motociclista di montagna"

THOSE WHO GO SLOWLY IN ALTO ADIGE IN THE DOLOMITES, SEE MORE…

A motorbike gives you the opportunity to “feel” the panorama and nature in Alto Adige and the Dolomites. It shouldn´t be the speed that gives you a thrill, but everything that you see around you: from the mountains to the lakes, from the cows to the vineyards. Choosing the right speed for your journey will transform your ride into something very fun for your eyes and spirit.

TAKE LOTS OF BREAKS

Under the sun, on a terrace with a view on the mountains of Alto Adige, leaned on the wall of a welcoming mountain cabin, eating a typical local dish… This is the true essence of an “alto adigean” break. But it´s always better to do lots of breaks and take lots of photos and enjoy the surrounding panorama and nature… And just to pint out, make sure your park well your moto when you stop for a break!

THERE ARE HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS OF CURVES AND TURNS…

What is it that makes driving in Alto Adige so fascinating? The curves, the turns, the various routes, hills and a beautiful panorama… But did you know that all the curves are completely different one from another? Who knows how many curves there are in Alto Adige. Let´s do them all! Every curve needs to be done with the right speed, and you have to bear in mind that behind every one there is the unexpected…

BE CAREFUL AND PAY ATTENTION TO NATURE, SPEED AND LOTS OF OTHER ELEMENTS

- do respect speed limits for the sake of safety and your driving license points
- pay attention to nature (mountains and especially Alto Adige have very sensible eco-systems) and avoid:
* unnecessary noise – lets use the hooter as little as possible, as it frightens animals (dears, marmots etc.)
* acoustic and environmental pollution
– do not accelerate without any reason, do not litter;

RIGHT CLOTHING…

For every ocassion and every sport, there is the right kind of clothing. A perfect motocyclist has its special tracksuit, helmet, boots, gloves… For everybody else (occasional motorcyclists) a thick jacket, adeguate trousers, boots (not trainers), and a helmet are enough.

WEATHER AND FORECASTS…

It´s not ideal going on a moto when it´s raining. The weather forecast statistics demonstrate that there is sunshine in Alto Adige 300 days per year. But every once in while rain is possible... We advise you have a look a tour website before parting. It´s normal for the weather to change from one moment to the next in the mountains.

DRINK AND DRIVING

It´s true that one of the highlights in Alto Adige are the wines (reds, whites, rosé, sparkling, sweet), but when you are on a moto holiday you have to be careful with alcohol! And not just with wine, with all alcoholic beverages in general. Once you get back after your tour, you can enjoy drinking wine at dinner.per piacere!
